Plans with adverts are usually the cheapest way into each service. Most UK services are monthly with no contract, so you can join for a series you want to watch and cancel afterwards.
ITVX, Channel 4, Tubi and Pluto TV are free with adverts. BBC iPlayer needs a TV licence, which most UK households already pay for.
