A JustWatch alternative for the UK
JustWatch is the best-known streaming guide, with apps for phones and TVs and coverage of many countries. WatchRadar does the same core job, showing where a film or series is streaming, with a few differences that matter if you mostly watch in the UK.
What is the same
For the basic question of where something is streaming, you should get the same answer on both sites. WatchRadar's availability comes from TMDB, whose streaming listings are supplied by JustWatch.
What WatchRadar does differently
UK first. WatchRadar opens on UK availability, with BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and NOW listed alongside Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+. You can switch country from the header at any time.
Included, free, rent or buy at a glance. Every title page shows which services include it, which show it free, and where it can be rented or bought, with a plain-English summary at the top.
Alerts for the services you pay for. Pick your services and Premium emails or notifies you when a title on your Queue lands on one of them, or leaves all of them. Free accounts can follow 3 titles and get an email when they start streaming.
Ratings, reviews and lists. Rate titles, write short reviews, keep a Queue and share lists from a public profile.
No-ads option. Free accounts see some adverts. Premium removes them for £2.49 a month or £19.99 a year.
When JustWatch might suit you better
If you want native phone and TV apps, or you often compare availability across many countries side by side, JustWatch's apps are more mature. WatchRadar runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen like an app.
